were needed because
the gap between
the haves and the have-nots
was dangerously widening.

A new normal has to be set.

Currently,
we have media reports
of England's newest Princess
wearing a $340 dress.

Meanwhile,
an American teenager
will wear a dress
to her Prom
that costs two
or three times
that amount.

She might even call
her date by using her
similarly priced cell phone.

Our goal is simple.

We are to behave in ways
that are more congruent
to America's current economic situation.
